The success story of today's EuRec Environmental Technology GmbH started on December 18, 1995, when Mr. Norbert Kottmann founded EuRec in Merkers, Thuringia. In 1996, the company was entered into the commercial register for the first time, and EuRec immediately started to develop its own machine and process technologies. In 1999, EuRec built its first mechanical-biological treatment system for a throughput of 1,000 tons of household waste per day, after which more than 2,000 machines and systems were quickly delivered worldwide.
Today, EuRec is a medium-sized company with approx. 70 employees, which is specialized in manufacturing, delivery, assembly, commissioning, maintenance and repair of waste processing and recycling technology. EuRec offers integrated concepts, sustainable solutions, and advanced technologies for the treatment of all kinds of waste. It does not matter whether it is a single machine or a complete plant. The supply of shredding, screening, separating, dosing, and packaging technology from a single source and Made in Germany - not many suppliers can claim this today.
EuRec has made a name for itself as a world-renowned manufacturer of high-quality and high-performance recycling technology that not only designs, manufactures and supplies standard machines but also machines in special designs according to customer requirements. Customers are convinced of the robustness, quality, and longevity of EuRec machines. Many plants have been in use for almost 25 years in a wide variety of applications and are still working reliably today.
Next to the innovative solutions and high-quality machines, the employees have been in the foreground at EuRec for many years. Some employees have been with the company since its founding and have made a significant contribution to its success over the years. Mr. Christoph Kottmann, son of the company founder Norbert Kottmann and managing director of the second generation, expressed his sincere thanks to them for this, presented flowers and vouchers.
EuRec will maintain and further improve the motivation and team spirit of its employees, but of course also the quality standards of its machines and systems in the future.
Unfortunately, due to the Corona pandemic, no company anniversary party can take place currently, but the party will be rescheduled and all the nicer as soon as it is possible. For the management of EuRec, the health of the employees and a robust company are in the foreground.
