EuRec is contracted to manufacture the next two shredders for the new project of a municipal solid waste treatment plant in the north of Cairo.

A EuRec 2-shaft slow-speed Shredder type S 19, mobile, with wheel axle, is available to interested parties for demonstrations and short-term rental.

Due to the Sars-CoV-2 ("Corona") pandemic, the year 2020 developed differently for EuRec than expected at the beginning of the year. Despite the difficult situation, EuRec has come through the current financial year comparatively well. Surprisingly, the recycling industry around the world was only slightly affected by the pandemic.

Although the economic development of Israel is somewhat hampered this year by the corona pandemic, the environmental sector remains a rapidly growing segment in the country.

There are different methods and solutions for treating unsorted and mixed waste. Below we show an example of a plant in North Africa, where the new municipal waste management system has been implemented, and the waste treatment plant has been set up accordingly.

A EuRec Shredder type S 24, electrically driven, mounted on hook lift frame with rollers for mobile use, was delivered to Spain.
